What is your professional background and qualifications?

I am a registered Social Work Intern with the Florida Department of Health. This means that I am able to provide therapy services in-person and via telehealth anywhere in Florida. I have worked extensively with personal and professional development, inner child and shadow work, somatic therapies, and yoga. My most recent positions have been working with adults in private practice and with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. I have my yoga teaching certification and spent 15 years in a corporate career. 

What is your therapeutic approach or style?

My therapeutic approach and style is whole person wellness. I believe in working together to identify your goals for therapy, where you are stuck, and modalities that are right for your life stage, interests, priorities and schedule. 

Do you have experience working with diverse populations or individuals from various cultural backgrounds?

Yes, I have experience working with a wide range of cultural backgrounds, sexual orientations, and ethnicities. 

What is your availability, and what are your fees?

Please reach out to discuss availability and I will always try to work with your schedule. My hourly rate is $175.

Do you accept insurance, and if so, which providers do you work with?

I do not currently accept insurance. 

How often are sessions typically scheduled, and how long do they last?

Sessions are scheduled weekly or bi-weekly depending on need, desire, and budget. I will work with you to find the right cadence of sessions. 

What is your approach to confidentiality and privacy?

All sessions are 100% confidential and HIPPA compliant

Are there any specific techniques or interventions you commonly use in therapy?

I utilize a combination of psychodynamic therapy, CBT, DBT, attachment-based and somatic therapies.

Do you have a specialty or focus within your practice?

I specialize in working with women looking for a holistic approach to mental health and wellness. I love working with clients dealing with life transitions, grief, and hormone imbalance. If you have gone to therapy before and it was not a good experience or “did not work” I would love to talk with you about why my approach is different and what I can offer you.
